Scheduling Theory (ST) [Summer 2025]
Input/output systems usually provide some sort of service that is limited by constrained ressource availablility (e.g., computation, data forwarding, energy supply). On the other hand, it is often imperative that service is provided withing a timely fashion. The lecture “Scheduling Theory” will present modeling of ressources and demand as well as matching the demand to the available ressource – knwon as scheduling.
